LOAD NEXT OPPOSITELOCK STORY - or don’t! That’s the key.
This allows the Powers That Be to keep their infinite-scroll mindgame in tact, but allows users a way to stop the insanity, if so desired.
I love it.

I can get on board with this. This and the “Pending” comments button beside “Staff” and “Community”. For once kinja has improved a bit.
...
Those features will either break or be removed

haha, honestly there is one big reason I use Firefox. The vertical bookmark toolbar. I spend most of my work day on the browser using various links from the sidebar. I have waaay more horizontal screen space than vertical, so I want minimal stuff top-to-bottom, and I have a LOT of bookmarks I use every day. I haven’t found an alternative in chrome...

Weird, yeah I use a lot of bookmarks for work too, but the upper bar works for me. There is a chrome extension for a side bar

Yeah nope. It’s the stupid Kinja sometimes we give you the new stuff kind of rolling update.
